The Post Office plan to close the Uxbridge Post Office and instead open a small counter upstairs in W. H. Smiths. If the stairs aren't for you, it'll only be accessible by a small lift.
The existing Post Office is busy; often, even with 7 or more windows open, there's still a queue. W. H. Smiths is already congested and there will be fewer windows.

We sign this petition to support the resident's objections to the closure of the main Post Office in 'The Pavilions', Uxbridge. We consider the alternative service offered by W.H.Smith to be inadequate, inconvenient and inaccessible and ask that the London Borough of Hillingdon respond to this Government initiative to require that the proposed move is properly subjected to public consultation and scrutiny.
