Stop cuts to Honor Oak trains

We the undersigned call on the Department of Transport and Southern Rail to halt the planned cuts and cancellations of rail services to London Bridge and Charing Cross. Hundreds of local people use these convenient services to central London both for work and leisure. We demand a full explanation of the planned changes in services to and from Brockley, Forest Hill, Honor Oak and Sydenham, and the right to public consultation where no equivalent service is planned.

Background

Lib Dems are campaigning alongside local groups to stop Department for Transport and Southern Railway plans to reduce services from Lewisham stations to Charing Cross and London Bridge. Rail services from Brockley, Honor Oak and Forest Hill are among those affected, with 33% reductions in off-peak and evening peaktime services between London Bridge on the Brockley/Sydenham line and cancellation of off-peak and Sunday services to Charing Cross.
