Save Cornish Tax Offices

We the undersigned support the work Cornish tax offices do in preventing fraud in the tax system across the United Kingdom, consider their presence vital to the communities in which they are based, believe any programme of closures would undermine efforts to create jobs in Cornwall - which is a stated aim of hard-won EU convergence funding - and would prove a false economy for the public purse. We call on the Government urgently to rethink any proposals which would put local offices and jobs under threat.
