Plans by Transport for London, controlled by the Tory Mayor Boris Johnson, will see staffing at tube stations across London reduced by a staggering 700-800 posts, leaving just skeleton staffing at many stations. 

The plans will affect all tube stations in Islington.  Islington Liberal Democrat councillors have calculated that local tube stations will see ticket office hours cut by 265 hours every week.
