Bus Back Tonight!

Campaign for evening bus services across the Meon Valley

People living in the Meon Valley villages are FED UP with buses that stop at 7pm!

You can't get anywhere without a car in the evening and on Sundays it's even worse. People going to college in Winchester, Eastleigh or Fareham are dependent on their parents if they have to stay late, and anyone wanting to go to the cinema or visit friends for an evening but doesn't have a car is stuck.

Hampshire County Council say they will only provide a bus service in the evenings if we can prove there is a need. Signing this petition will send them the message, that we want a better bus service in Meon Valley.

It's unacceptable.

When fuel prices are going through the roof and CO2 is threatening our environment, it means that you need a car - or to pay for a taxi

  • if you want to work late
  • if you're commuting from London
  • if you want to meet friends for a drink or a coffee after work or school
  • if you want to go to the cinema or theatre
  • if you want to do anything outside the village where you live
We want this to change and we want your help.

Please sign our petition to back our campaign.

I/we the undersigned call on Hampshire County Council to provide an evening bus services back to the villages in the Meon Valley.
