Katesgrove is predominantly hilly and because of that suffers disproportionately during periods of ice and snow.

We note that there is just a single salt and grit bin for the whole of Katesgrove.

We, the undersigned, request that the council increases the number of salt and grit bins in Katesgrove for use by the public to help keep the highway clear of ice and snow.

We would especially ask the council to pay attention to hills, shopping areas and medical facilities when deciding where to position them.
