As one of the founding clubs of the football league, the National Football Museum is quite rightly located in Preston. The chairman of the football league, Lord Brian Mawhinney, has suggested it should be moved from Preston to Wembley. We are campaigning to keep the National Football Museum in Preston.
PNE were a founding member of the professional football league in 1888, with a team of invincibles winning the double in the first year of the league. PNE are the only team of the original 12 who have played continuously at the same ground for over a century.
Please sign our petition to help persuade the Football League and Government that the National Football Museum must stay in Preston.
